The Lady Rams volleyball team took a 3-0 overall win with match scores of 25-7, 25-9, and 25-9 at Langston University during the first conference game of the season.
Kate Rosenbusch , junior athletic training major, said the best part of the game was when the Lady Rams won the first game 25-7. Rosenbusch said they were able to win thanks to team work.
“When a game is slower it’s hard to stay focused and play at our level,” she said. “I think we did a great job of keeping focus.”
The Lady Rams kept the Lady Lion’s score under 10 points in each match.
Alex Hendee, sophomore biology major, said she was pleased that every member of the team got to get on the court and play against Langston.
“We’ve all worked so hard throughout preseason, so having everyone contribute to our first win was a great way to start conference,” Hendee said. “Everyone shined throughout the night, there wasn’t any individuals on the court, only one team.”
