The Texas Wesleyan baseball team played in a three game series against Texas College in Tyler, Texas Mar. 24-26. The Rams fought hard in all three conference games and won all three with scores of 1-0, 16-11, 15-1.

In the first game on Mar. 24, the Rams and Texas College both remained scoreless the whole game until the seventh inning when David Kiriakos, senior shortstop, earned Wesleyan their only run. Even though it was only one run, it was enough to win the game. The Rams won their first game of the series 1-0.

The second game of the series was played Mar. 25, and this game was very different from the game before. Wesleyan started off the game hot, scoring nine runs in the first inning alone, while TC scored zero. The Rams continued to swing into runs and added three more runs by the end of the fourth inning. TC did not give up and had three runs of their own. The Rams put up four more runs in the sixth inning, and did not score for the rest of the game. While TC put eight more runs up, it did not matter because the Rams ran away with the win, 16-11.

The Rams continued their winning streak in the final game of the series. The Rams again got on the board early, five runs in the first inning and two runs in the second inning while Texas College had none. In the sixth inning, Texas College only had one run. The Rams finished the game when they added eight runs by the ninth inning. The final game ended with the Rams winning 15-1.

The Rams play again Mar. 26 against Dallas Christian at 3 p.m. in Dallas, Texas.
