Candidates for the upcoming Student Government Association election will speak at an open forum on Tuesday.

The forum is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Baker Building.

SGA presidential candidate Abbey Borghee and head representative candidate Fez Ghussein, both running unopposed, will answer questions from the audience, said SGA President Tyler Mendez.

There will also be a debate between the three candidates running for SGA vice president: Lyndsey Bessinger, Zahraa Saheb and Zurra Hemani.

“The VP candidates will hear specific questions and issues about Texas Wesleyan and each candidate will have a few minutes to answer the question,” Mendez said.

Dean of Students Dennis Hall will email students a link to vote on April 15; voting will last for one day.
