Republican and democratic primary elections early voting starts in Texas

Early voting began in Texas on Feb. 20 with the primary elections taking place on March 5.

Students and others can find early voting locations and times nearby. To vote, individuals need to bring their government ID and voter registration card.

Alexa Melancon, senior criminal justice major, said voting is important for students.

“I am not voting these primary elections, but I do think students should vote because it is important for young people to voice their concerns,” she said.
