SGA Encourages Student Participation


The Student Government Association (SGA) continues to encourage student participation by continuing the participation program, which officially begins next week.

SGA Secretary Zurra Hemani, who is also the Publicity & Communications Committee Chair, announced during her committee report during the weekly business meeting on Monday that all advertising for the participation program has officially been posted.

According to, the organization that attends the most SGA meetings this semester will receive up to $525 and the individual that attends the most SGA meetings will receive up to $200.

Last semester’s winners will be announced during the staff versus student basketball game on Thursday during free period.

“I want to thank the audience for being here,” said SGA President Abbey Borghee. “We appreciate your time and effort in joining us for our meetings.” 

The SGA also swore in Anthony Guzman as the new business representative.
