Multiple car burglaries have taken place on the Texas Wesleyan campus within the last two days.
Campus Security and Fort Worth Police are currently investigating the burglaries, which include two cars at West Village around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, another car at West Village on June 9 and one car at Lot N across from Law Stone on June 8, according to an e-mail alert sent by Wesleyan’s security director Blake Bumbard.
The suspect is described as a hispanic male, about 5’10”, medium build. Video surveillance showed the suspect wearing a light-colored t-shirt, baggy dark-colored pants, a dark-colored ball cap and was carrying a dark-colored backpack.
The suspect smashed windows of two cars and was able to enter the other two through unlocked doors.
“Everyone is reminded to always lock your vehicle and not to leave valuables in plain sight in your vehicle,” Bumbard wrote.
Please report any suspicious persons walking around or through the parking lots.
Anyone with information on these incidents, or spotting a suspect matching this description, is asked to immediately contact Campus Security at 817-531-4911 or Fort Worth Police 911.
