Texas Wesleyan student affairs organization held a virtual bingo on Wednesday, Sept. 13 for students to attend.
Barbara Walker, director for student activities, hosted this event to accommodate individuals to attend from the comfort of their own home. She said she enjoys playing bingo outside of school as well.
“I wanted to provide all students commuter and residential an opportunity to attend a fun/game event no matter where they are,” Walker said. “I personally really like bingo.”
Lisa Rojero, junior paralegal studies major, did not know of this bingo but plans to attend future ones.
“I like bingo and did not know about it; I will join the next one,” Rojero said. “They should promote it by email, flyers or post on canvas so everyone can see it and attend.”
Elicia Torres, junior criminal justice major, also said she loves bingo and likes a little competition.
“If I knew I would have attended, bingo is my favorite,” Torres said. “It’d be fun to meet other students and compete with them.”
Walker encourages other students to attend the next virtual bingo. If other students are interested in winning prizes, the next date would be until next semester, March 23, 2024.
