The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning will be holding its staff celebration on May 13.

The event is 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the CETL lab, which is located in the West Library, and open to any staff member that participated in at least of the staff workshops held this semester, according to Adeline Meira, Ed.D. and CETL instructional technologist. Cookies, popcorn and sodas will be available.

“We got in touch with the Texas Wesleyan Staff Council to determine offerings that would be more targeted to our staff’s needs,” Meira said of the workshops.

Meira said the result of the partnership between the council and CETL was the development of the CETL Staff Spring Series, which included four different workshop topics offered twice throughout the semester.

The workshops have included Social Media Tips & Tricks, Product Management Tools, Collaborating Over the Cloud, and Atomic Learning, Meira said.
